World record smashed thanks to Selco's help

Lisa Dennis, 40 years old, broke the Guinness World Record for smashing 1,000 roof tiles with just her hands within the 90 seconds allowed at Crofton Halls, Oprington.

The tiles needed for the challenge were donated by the Croydon branch of Selco after she had approached them. A Guinness World Records adjudicator was present and awarded her the official record certificate.

The tiles were arranged in 100 piles of ten and she needed to break around 16 per second to achieve her aim of becoming world record holder.

BBC Breakfast recorded her attempt, which will be shown on Saturday (29 March) morning.
