Cecil Duckworth, Kevin Lee, Richard Soper CBE and current managing director, Carl Arntzen hosted a James Bond themed evening of celebration at the Sixways stadium, home of Worcester Warriors Rugby Club.

Joining the four Worcester MDs were a number of employees and industry partners, past and present, who have contributed to the success of the organisation over the last five decades.

The company was founded on September 14 1962.

Arntzen said: “This year has been a special one and we are extremely proud to be celebrating 50 years of business.

“What makes our golden anniversary even more rewarding is that all four managing directors of the company, both past and present, have been able to enjoy them along with their current and past colleagues, which is testament to the stability of the business over the past five decades.

“Looking ahead, we are confident that our core business of manufacturing high-efficiency condensing boilers still offers huge growth potential. We are therefore planning a significant product launch in the New Year, which will involve the introduction of our next generation of award winning Greenstar gas-fired boilers. The best boilers we have are about to get even better.”
