Having first joined Worcester in 2008 as a technical sales manager, Fothergill progressed to the role of specification operations manager in 2013 then became a regional sales manager in February 2015.

Taking over from Jon Wheeler, who returns to the sales team following his successful spell at the helm, Fothergill takes on the challenge of guiding the manufacturer’s market-leading training department into an “exciting new era”.

As well as building on the Worcester’s established track record of providing expert industry training and opportunities for professional development, Fothergill will be tasked with overseeing the £3m expansion of its flagship Training Academy, and boosting awareness of the mobile and online training options.

Fothergill said: “I’ve always been passionate about ensuring the professional development of heating engineers, and I hope the relationships I’ve built through daily contact with them will stand me in good stead. Now is such an exciting time to be involved with training at Worcester, and I can’t wait to get started.”
