A man driving a van belonging to builders and plumbers merchant group Wolseley was captured on video last week fly-tipping a radiator over a fence.
The brand new radiator – complete with delivery note – was tipped over the fence of a property in Hampshire. The CCTV cameras were installed due to persistent problems with fly-tipping.
A spokesman for Wolseley UK told buildersmerchantsjournal.net: “We take allegations of this nature very seriously and have launched an immediate investigation.”
Unfortunately for the perpetrator, the property is inhabited by someone who works for a rival plumbers merchant, who posted the clip to YouTube.
