Wolseley UK revamps Center branding

Plumbers and builders merchant group Wolseley UK is getting a new look and focus for its Center merchanting brands.

The move comes after the group sold its Build Center business to Jewson and its Electric Center business to Edmondson Electrical.

There are new logos for Plumb Center, Parts Center, Pipe Center, Climate Center and Drain Center. Plumbers merchant brand William Wilson and retail bathroom brand Bathstore remain unchanged.

Wolseley UK managing director Steve Ashmore said: “We wanted a fresh, modern image and feel to carry the business forward for at least the next five years that would enable the individual brands to be independent but also to work together where necessary.

“The exercise is one of evolution not revolution as we are building on our high brand equity and the trust our customers have in each of our individual brands. Feedback from employees, customers and suppliers has been very positive.”

A team drawn from across the business will oversee the gradual implementation of the new branding at minimum cost starting within the next few months.

As part of the initiative, Wolseley has also announced the re-branding of its Integrated Supply business to Integrated Services – complete with new logo.
