A new record has been set for the most online training courses completed in a month by employees at plumbers merchant Wolseley UK.
Staff at the plumbing and heating distribution firm completed 12,000 courses via Wolseley’s Online Training Academy during January.
New data from the Academy also shows the benefits of all that effort, with
95% of the company’s 6,000-strong workforce improving their customer service skills by passing a bespoke Wolseley UK customer service course.
Health and safety awareness, another top priority, was also high on the training agenda with 84% of employees passing a new and updated Manual Handling module, which teaches employees how to keep themselves, and their customers, safe in the workplace.
