The free event, on April 29 and 30, is aimed at those involved in the early design stages of new build or refurbishment school projects, such as local authorities, contractors and head teachers.

The seminars will provide details on the latest sustainable products and technologies – from their system design and relevant applications, to efficiencies and payback. Attendees can get advice on complying with the latest legislation impacting the education sector, as well as see more than 170 products in their working environment to discover how these can make a difference in creating sustainable, efficient and stimulating educational environments.

Representatives from the British Council for School Environments, of which Wolseley is a member, will present on the first day: Nick Mirchandani of architecture plb and Peter Hazzard from Cundall will share their experiences and lessons learnt from a Building Schools for the Future (BSF) project in Luton.
