Wolseley man named as eco-pioneer

Wolseley UK’s head of sustainability, Tim Pollard has been named as an Eco-Pioneer by Sustainability West Midlands.

One of th region’s top 50 green leaders,Pollard received his certificate from international campaigner Jonathon Porritt at a special event at in Birmingham.

Pollard was included in the list for his work in delivering Wolseley UK’s strategy for sustainable construction products and the development of the most low impact supply chain in the industry.

He was instrumental in creating the company’s Sustainable Building Center, a purpose-built facility to showcase green products, which attracts industry visits from all over Europe to experience the innovation first hand.
