Wolseley’s internal communications team has bagged five awards at the Communicators in Business (CiB) Regional Awards.

The team, based at the company’s Leamington Spa office, won a certificate of merit in the ‘in-house team of the year’ category, along with awards of excellence in the ‘strategy’ and ‘special publications’ categories.

Connections, the company’s bi-monthly in-house magazine also took two awards – a certificate of merit in ‘best news magazine’ and an award of excellence in the ‘best editor’ category for internal communications manager Simon Henning.

Head of communications Pete Maginnis said: “It is great to have been recognised at these prestigious awards. Wolseley regards having an engaged and motivated workforce as key to its future success and so we are delighted to have received external acknowledgment of our progress in this area.”
