Wolseley UK, the builders and plumbers merchant group, have opened a new dedicated builders merchant branch to service Walsall Housing Group (whg).

The deal comes after Wolseley were appointed a supply chain partner in a deal worth £3m a year for four years.
The UK’s largest distributor of construction products will provide a complete materials solution to meet the maintenance requirements of whg’s 20,000 homes.
The new 8,000 sq ft site in Walsall will essentially operate as a builders’ merchants but with whg, a not-for-profit Registered Social Landlord, as the sole client, ensuring that its tradesmen can always get the materials they need.
