Builders Merchants Journal – BMJ Publishing to Builders Merchants and the UK merchanting industry for more than 95 years
Rachael Mackman is the latest addition to the Wirquin UK sales team, joining the business as Buying Group Manager and reporting directly to Commercial Director Nick Richards.
Mackman has over 20 years experience int eh building and construction industry in Australia, New Zealand and the UK working with national housebuilders, developers and the specification market. Most recently she has been based in the South East of England working in the KBB sector, supporting the Buying Groups and National Merchants together with some key Developers and Housing Associates.
“Wirquin felt my experience was ideally places to support their growing business though Buying Groups.” Mackman said of her appointment in October. “I was really impressed by the investment and innovation at Wirquin and that their key focus is designing products that make life easier for the installer. My new role will be to support Buying Group members and deliver added value to their businesses. The strong range of products at Wirquin will certainly help me to achieve this.”
