Wienerberger invests in new brick depot

The 4,000sqm depot in Highbridge opened this month and will serve merchants in Somerset, Wiltshire, Gloucestershire, Dorset, Devon and Cornwall as well as the surrounding areas.

Wienerberger sales director Mark Morris said: “In what have been extremely challenging economic times we are confident that the opening of the depot will be welcomed by merchants in the south west.

“Moreover we hope it signals our commitment to the building sector in the UK and our continued support for local builders’ merchants.”

The depot will stock a wide range of facing bricks, engineering bricks and pavers, all available as mixed loads.

Small loads can be despatched within 48 hours on a new collection and delivery service for urgent orders.
