West Building Supplies to launch fourth depot in Yorkshire

Yorkshire based independent builders’ merchant West Building Supplies is celebrating 50 years of trading by expanding into the  market town of Beverley.

The expansion means that the new depot will be West Building Supplies 4th site complementing the existing sites in Bridlington and Scarborough. The family owned business plan to distribute its wide range of building, timber and plumbing & heating products with a free delivery service into Beverley and the surrounding area with an initial fleet of three delivery vehicles.

Sean Boyd, Managing Director says: ”Our local Independent values are the corner stone of the business, customer service, staff welfare and vast stock ranges are what separate us from our national competitors as well as the timber machining operation which offers a popular cut to size sheet material and timber service that we offer to both our trade and retail customers.

“Our Beverley customer base has been growing in recent years and we think that there is certainly a need for our good value range. West Building Supplies delivery vehicle are already becoming a familiar site in and around the Beverley area”.

The new Beverley depot adds to the well-established timber branch in Bridlington and the Scarborough branch. The company has just relocated its Head Office operation to a new large premises on Bessingby Industrial Estate, Bridlington where there is a new kitchen, bathroom, bedroom and decorative lighting design centre, next to the indoor landscape centre showcasing displays of decorative paving, fencing, decking, summerhouses and much more.

The Beverley depot will be opening on Monday 23rd August and is at Deans Park, Grovehill Road, Beverley.
