Security specialist Yale has launched a new range of high-security padlocks featuring boron shackles for superior strength and cut resistance.
Yale’s new high security padlock offering provides merchants with the opportunity to upsell over equivalent lower security padlocks. Suitable for outdoor use, these padlocks have been designed with five pins to provide pick-resistance and have an upgraded keyway cover for increased protection from the elements.
Francesca Wellings, Yale product manager, said: “Our new high security padlock range presents a great opportunity for add-on sales for merchants.
“Most sheds are supplied with minimal or no door security, so at this time of year, when there is a rise in outdoor burglaries, it’s worth highlighting this to your customers and recommending that customers fit a sturdy padlock that can withstand all weather conditions.
“With strong Anti-Cut boron shackles and double ball locking mechanisms, these new high security padlocks offer added security. The range consists of a Laminated padlock, with a steel body and zinc plated finish, a Weatherproof version, with a weatherproof jacket for additional corrosion resistance, along with a Disk padlock.”
Merchants can promote the new Yale high security range by employing eye-catching displays sited near to doors, or by utilising countertop stands so stock turns over more quickly.
