Ultra Tile supports Rugby World Cup legacy

Ultra Tile products from Instarmac have been used in the refurbishment of Woodrush Rugby Football Club, Birmingham following the receipt of a RFU Social Spaces Grant.

Ultra Tile supports Rugby World Cup legacy

The team’s busy clubhouse was completely refurbished during a 5 month window, prior to the start of the Rugby World Cup. Anglo Italian, Instarmac customer and club sponsor tiled all floors and washroom walls using Italian mixed porcelain tiles and Ultra Tile FibreGrip FX in grey. Ultra Tile FlexJoint was then used to grout all surfaces and provide a professional and stylish finish to this popular social venue.

Ultra Tile FibreGrip FX is a premium grade, polymer modified adhesive with added fibres for superior bond, fibre enhanced body and exceptional grab. It is ideal for use with natural stone, porcelain, quartz and ceramic tiles, and is formulated to adhere to most common substrates including screwed and fixed over-boarded wooden floors. FibreGrip FX is suitable for wall and floor installations in both internal and external locations. It is classified under CE marking regulations as a C2 FT and is compatible with underfloor heating systems.

Joint finishing was completed using Ultra Tile FlexJoint grout in Grey. This grout boasts a super fine texture, is polymer modified for ultimate flexibility, repels water and will not mould. It can be used with underfloor heating and for joint widths from 1-20mm. Eight other colours are available to choose from: White, Cream, Jasmine, Limestone, Sandstone, Chocolate, Titanium and Anthracite. Complimentary colours in Ultra Tile ProSeal IT silicone are also available.

The project’s value was £10,000, spanned 120sq m and was completed in time for the start of the Rugby World Cup.
