Pegler Yorkshire and Grinnell (Tyco Fire & Building Products) have been announced as joint winners of BSS Industrial’s 2008 Supplier of the Year Award.
Pegler Yorkshire have won the top spot for two years in a row now. In fact, because the awards were only launched in 2007, they have won the top spot every year since their inauguration!
Entrants were assessed on criteria such as training, product knowledge, availability, marketing and delivery and the judging panel was comprehensive with everyone from branch staff to the marketing team having the opportunity to vote.
Commenting on the win, Pegler UK sales director David Brown said: “Winning this award two years in a row is great news for us. Let’s hope we can go for a hat trick next year!”
Grinnell sales director Mark Hodgetts added: “We’re proud to be recognised by a company such as BSS Industrial. Maybe we’ll even pip Yorkshire to the post in 2009!”
