Travis Perkins to build jobs in Coventry

Builders and plumbers merchant chain Travis Perkins is planning to create a new distribution centre in Coventry.
British builders’ merchant Travis Perkins has announced plans to open a new facility.
The hub, at Whitley Business Park , will serve local branches and some orders direct to trade customers. It will employ up to 300 staff on a three-shift basis over 24 hours.

A planning application to build the new Regional Distribution Centre has been submitted to Coventry City Council, as well as additional improvements to the access roadway.

The plans also include offices and storage space, as well as a 180-space car park at the front of the site.
