Travis Perkins signs-off Saints’ sponsorship

Builders merchant group Travis Perkins has renewed its sponsorship of the Northampton Saints RFC for a further four years, it announced today (January 23).

Travis Perkins signs-off Saints' sponsorship

Travis Perkins became the Saints’ main sponsor in 2002 and the current deal means it will continue to be so until at least 2016. However the relationship between the club, Travis Perkins, its predecessor Travis and Arnold, and the Travis family as a whole stretches back over 90 years.

Travis Perkins’ deputy chief executive officer John Carter says: “We are delighted to be renewing our position as Northampton Saints’ main club sponsor. They have worn our name on the front of their shirts with distinction during the past decade, especially over the past few years when they have been bringing silverware to the people of Northampton.

“The partnership is an effective one with the sport being both widely followed and recognised by Travis Perkins employees and customers alike,” he said.

“The major sponsorship deal not only provides a great opportunity for Travis Perkins to effectively target its key audience, but to also gain significant exposure and raise awareness of the brand.”

He continued, “Since 2002 we have developed an outstanding relationship at all levels with the Saints that has benefitted both parties and we are looking forward to our winning combination continuing over the next four years.”
