The general merchanting division saw sales rise 1.4% (like-for-like sales were down by 0.4%), specialist merchanting rose 3.7% (like-for-like up 1.6%) and consumer (Wickes and, from January 3 Toolstation) was up 13.3% (like-for-like sales down by 5.8%). Travis Perkins’ 2012 preliminary results will be released on Wednesday 20 February 2013.
