Timber and builder’s merchant Travis Perkins has launched a Fantasy Football Game.
The game starts on Thursday (12th June) and the customer who proves their football knowledge and managerial prowess the best will win the top prize of a five night, VIP trip to Barcelona to meet the team with £1,000 spending money.
Between 12th June and 13th July 2014 account customers can select their ‘dream team’ and gain points based on their performance, competing against other customers and the staff at their local branch. The highest point scorer will be crowned the ultimate winner.
Second prize is a VIP tour of Wembley whilst the third place winner will scoop two tickets to a Premier League game of their choice.
Mark Bocking, branch manager of Travis Perkins Northampton, said: “I’m going to be entering my own dream team to see if I can earn more points than my customers.
“I’m looking forward to seeing who thinks they can do a better job than Roy Hodgson and how the staff point table compares to the customer only league table – hopefully some great local rivalries will develop!”
