Travis Perkins hits the Three Peaks

Employees from builders’ merchants group, Travis Perkins have successfully completed the Yorkshire Three Peaks in aid of Children’s Hospices UK and Breast Cancer Campaign.
Over 100 employees climbed the three peaks on June 5, taking between 10 and 12 hours to complete They climbed the Pen-y-Ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough peaks, raising £32,000 for the charities.

The trek is part of a range of fundraising activities in aid of the two charities. Over the next two years, each Travis Perkins branch will raise money for their local children’s hospice and Breast Cancer Campaign project.

Ian Church, TP’s Midlands managing director, said: “We are extremely proud to have completed the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge and raised such an amazing amount for Children’s Hospices UK and Breast Cancer Campaign.”
