TP extend rugby deal

Travis Perkins recently partnered with the Saints on a Government-funded scheme to bring rugby to 50 primary, secondary and special schools in the Northampton area. The latest agreement is the second time Travis Perkins has extended its commitment to the club, this time until at least 2012.

Northampton Saints chief executive, Allan Robson, said: “We have been associated with Travis Perkins for a long time and we’re delighted that the company has agreed to extend its sponsorship. Over the last seven years we have built a superb relationship that was recently developed even further by the company’s sponsorship of our new community project. The club is indebted to Travis Perkins their continued support and I’m delighted that we will be taking this relationship into the next decade.”

“Travis Perkins has a very rewarding and satisfying relationship with the Saints and we’re very pleased that it will be continuing for another four years,” said Linda Doughty, Travis Perkins’ trade marketing director. “The club is at the heart of the Northampton community and as a local company and employer we are proud to be associated with it.”
