Brintex, organisers of the DIY & Garden Show and Totally Tools, have announced a brand new look for the 2009 show, including a new layout and a new name.
The show will henceforth be called ‘Totally DIY’, a name which ties the show much closer to its sister show Totally Tools, which runs concurrently.
The shows’ floorplan has been redesigned with a wide aisle at the entrance leading visitors into the heat of the hall. At the centre will be a large piazza featuring new products.
“Our research tells us that 85% of our exhibitors come with new products to show, and 80% of our visitors come primarily to find new products and suppliers,” said show director James Murray, “so we decided to place new products literally at the heart of the show.”
Celebrating its 15th anniversary in 2009, the show will mark the occasion with a conference which follows on from its 10th anniversary in 2004. Sessions will examine what the future holds for DIY retailing.
Totally DIY and Totally Tools take place at Earls Court, London on January 18-20.
