Top timber sales prompt expansion

Moretonhampstead-based builders merchants Hilton Supplies have taken over additional space at their premises at The Old Mill in Station Road by moving their timber and insulation products into an adjacent vacant unit.

“This new unit gives us the space we need to expand the range of prepared timber and insulation products we can stock and provides an area purely devoted to those products so it is much easier for our customers to make their choice,” said md Matt Bonfield.

Plus, the company has a made a commitment to sustainable sourcing as all the planed timber they offer is FSC-certified.

“All our timber comes from Scandinavian farmed forests,” said Mr Bonfield, “and we know that insulating a building gives both the quickest and highest return on the money invested, hence the combination of products in our new unit.

“The Company is committed to providing environmentally friendly building solutions and we hope this is the first of a number of environmentally friendly initiatives we can introduce.”
