Top Leadership Coach to speak at BMF Members Day

The Builders Merchants Federation (BMF) has lined up one of the most effective leadership coaches to speak at BMF Members’ Day in September, which takes Building Beyond Brexit as its theme.

 

Nigel MacLennan, a Chartered Psychologist with a doctorate in leadership coaching, has been equipping builders merchants to thrive through all sorts of changes over the last two decades. His day job is coaching CEOs, MDs, directors and business managers to achieve improved results.  He has produced 60 publications (books, DVDs and audios) on how to enhance leadership and business performance, each of which provides original techniques that can be used to achieve better results immediately.

 

MacLennan’s BMF Members’ Day presentation will take a look at what makes some businesses just about survive in the face of change, while others thrive. His session will look at the approaches that change thrivers take that change survivors (and non-survivors) don’t. He will also share tools that everyone can use to build beyond Brexit

 

BMF MD John Newcomb said: “Many BMF members are likely to be directly or indirectly affected by Brexit and Nigel has developed many powerful and effective tools to assist them. One of the things I find most interesting about his approach is his insistence that everything shared with BMF members should past the “tomorrow morning test”. In other words, members should be able to use his tools the very next day to start transforming their results.”

 

Members’ Day 2017 will be held at Jurys Inn Hinckley Island Hotel in Leicestershire. The Business Conference and the BMF’s black-tie Awards Dinner, which celebrates the achievements of young people working in the industry, both take place on 20^th September. The BMF’s annual Golf Tournament will be held on the previous day, 19^th September.
