The autumn Toolbank Trade Show flew into London this week with more products on display than ever before.
The exhibitors who attended the event held at the RAF Museum in Hendon included Yale, DeWalt, Forgefix, Gerber, Stanley and a range of others.
Simon Bicknell, Toolbank’s group sales director, said: “It’s a chance for us to get a load of our suppliers and customers to greet each other, because that’s not always practical.
“Whilst a lot of people here have got all sorts of clever deals, one of the key things about the show is for our customers to see what is new.
“We’ve had a good turnout from the customers. The trade generally feels more optimistic, I can go back two years where everyone was still feeling apprehensive. But particularly with the building trade, some of the initiatives they’ve done have gone well and a lot of it is down to psychological behaviour.”
Toolbank are a specialist distributor of hand and power tools who supply around 12,000 outlets in the UK and Ireland. The business is growing bigger every year, with its latest catalogue set to feature 30,000 products.
