Tool Fair gets into gear

The largest tool exhibition in the south of England takes place this Friday and Saturday (May 18 and 19).

Tool Fair gets into gear

The 2012 Southern Tool Fair will take place at the Ageas Bowl (formerly the Hampshire Rosebowl) and will feature nearly 70 companies, stationed across three areas – the Atrium, the Indoor School and the External Forecourt.

Among the suppliers are Apache, Marcrist, Bahco, Paslode, Irwin, DeWalt, Metabo, Numatic and Stanley.

There will be a number of workshops running across the two days, – including one from Paslode on Health and Safety Legislation and one from Festool on Routing, both of which the organisers expect to be very popular.

Organised by southern independent builders merchant Elliotts, the Tool Fair is branded separately, in order to encourage as many visitos as possible.

“The show is open to anyone interested in tools, regardless of whether they are currently an Elliott customer or not,” says sales and marketing co-ordinator Donna Cross.
