Tinhay Building Supplies joins NBG

National Buying Group (NBG) is adding to its list of partners once again as Tinhay Building Supplies Ltd is the latest to join the group of independent builders merchants.

In 1999, Tinhay began trading in the South West and now operates out of three branches in Lifton, Launceston and Tavistock. Priding itself on delivering quality products to compete with national brands, Tinhay concentrates on reinvesting in the local economy and supporting customers to grow their own businesses.

Robert Sorrell, Managing Director at Tinhay Building Supplies, said “There are so many reasons that we joined NBG but perhaps the biggest is to give ourselves the buying power of a bigger brand. Joining the existing partners means that our clout will be multiplied by 87 and we’re excited to see how that will take the business forward.”tinhaylogo

Speaking of the new partnership, NBG managing director Nick Oates said “We’re very excited to announce that Tinhay Building Supplies is joining NBG. The experience in customer service and product knowledge that they bring with them will be invaluable to existing partners, we think they’ll fit in nicely.”

National Buying group was formed in 2003 and harnesses the power of collective buying by bringing the UK’s independent merchants together to develop lucrative business opportunities, overcome industry challenges and build lasting relationships with suppliers, as well as each other.
