TIMco pedals for children’s charity

A group of employees from Nantwich based TIMco, the  suppliers of screws, fasteners and fixings, has raised more than £4,500 for the Claire House Children’s Hospice.

A team of cyclists, made up of more than twenty employees as well as friends and family, met early morning on Sunday 2nd July at Chester’s Countess of Chester Hospital to head off on a gruelling 50-mile ride through the leafy lanes of the Cheshire countryside.

TIMco managing director Simon Midwood said: “It was a fantastic and well organised event and great to see such a strong turnout from TIMco.  The team put in a huge amount of effort to get fit for the day and we’re delighted to have been able to raise so much money for such a worthwhile cause.”

Claire House Children’s Hospice helps seriously and terminally ill children through specialist nursing & emotional support. Based in Bebington, Wirral the centre treats more than 44,000 patients a year.
