TIMco launches new products and latest innovations

TIMco, one of the UK’s largest independent suppliers of screws, fasteners and fixings, will soon be launching their new Autumn/Winter catalogue full of the latest products and innovations. This follows a busy year seeing their first ever conference, the launch of new training facilities and an ever growing product range.

TIMco’s product range has now grown to include more than 5,000 products that will all be featured in the new catalogue, with advice and handy tips to help customers select the perfect product for each task. The new ranges include an expanded VETO range, further products of security solutions, power tool accessories, a stainless steel range, as well as a comprehensive range of quality and popular fixing and fastening products under the TIMco brand.

The marketing team has also grown to support customers with their sales activities and in developing and implementing POS materials, promotional campaigns and marketing collateral. To further support customers, TIMco has introduced for customers the opportunity for them to have bespoke end user brochures, so their customers can brand the brochures with their own logos as well as leaflets and other promotional materials.

This year has also seen the launch of a new dedicated training department designed to provide the employees of trade customers with the facilities by which they can learn about the products and applications so they in turn can share learnings and offer advice and expertise to their own customers. This has been launched alongside a series of complimentary training and ‘How To’ videos that are available on YouTube or through the TIMco website.

In recognition of the marketing innovations TIMco has been putting into play, Rebecca Fortescue, TIMco’s marketing manager, has been nominated for BMF’s Young Achiever of the Year. The annual awards, launched by the Builders Merchants Journal in 2013, celebrates younger members of staff within the merchant industry.

Simon Midwood, MD of TIMco comments: “We’re happy with the way our ranges are naturally expanding and we continually strive to source new and innovative products that will really benefit end users. Even after such a busy year, TIMco still has some exciting things in the pipeline so watch this space.”
