These new appointments support the company’s strategy to implement new technological and logistic systems at their head office site in Nantwich, Cheshire. The additions reflect the company’s ethos to further develop the company’s people, processes and technology ensuring the company is well placed to deliver its continued growth and serve its growing customer base. The new systems will drive accuracy & efficiency and help the company manage the growing demand for its products.

Tom Fox will be taking responsibility for the infrastructure, networking, IT resilience and reporting. He will also support the IT developments required for business growth. Prior to joining TIMco, Fox spent more than eight years as the key IT technical specialist on several projects including a semi-automated warehouse picking solution, which included the integration of conveyor systems and voice picking.

Matt Foody will take responsibility for extending and developing the IT systems. Foody has a vast amount of experience in infrastructure, networking, systems development and implementation and joins the company from a £100m turnover company where he spent over  three years developing their IT systems.

Simon Midwood, Managing Director of TIMco, said: “We’re determined to continue to build on our close working relationships with our customers by meeting their needs regarding product ranges, as well as having a market leading logistics system. Further expanding our IT team shows our commitment to investing in our technology systems to remain innovative as well as our commitment to employment in the Nantwich area.”

Technology has had a major role to play in the development of logistics within the industry so as a business TIMco continues to develop their capacities and flexibility to deal with demand and expectations and to ensure they set leading standards in the industry.
