Held between the 7th and 8th October, the exhibition reported a 30% increase on visitor numbers on the previous year.

Loretta Sales, event director, said: “There was a real buzz around the event which is now a truly international affair, with visitors travelling as far afield as Qatar, China, Ghana, Russia, Kuwait, India, Malaysia, Canada and New Zealand. Exhibitors came from over 30 countries to showcase innovations from across the globe.

“This is not purely a numbers game however, and attracting the right sort of visitors is crucial, so we are delighted to report an increase in architects, engineers, specifiers and contractors – many with live projects.”

Organisers have reported that nearly 60% of exhibitors signed contracts at the show for the 2015 event, when it will be taking place at the NEC on the 6th and 7th October.
