Alan Murray, Head of Marketing at Shurtape, said: “’The Beast’ has already proved to be a real talking point, as well as the ideal vehicle to promote the brand and sample the product.

“We’re now going on a year-long tour of builders’ merchants and retailers throughout the UK, and will be managing a range of activities including indoor and outdoor product demonstrations, giveaways, free samples, promotions and cross-marketing initiatives.”

The company is challenging builders to try T-Rex just once, as in Alan’s own words; “People never go back! Hitting the the road aims to stop everyone in their dinosaur tracks.”

Shurtape is investing heavily in the T-Rex brand in 2017. Enjoying a strong market position in the US and already taking the UK by storm, the product has the company’s unique Co-Rex technology, giving it 4 times the staying power, 3 times the holding power and 2 times the bite’.*  It is UV and weather resistant**, making it ideal for all DIY and building needs – and perfect for long-lasting repairs. Plus it produces an easy, clean and quick tear.

Concludes Alan: “The T-Rex tour will be promoted throughout the press as well as with social media activity and will culminate in a grand finale, so is a fantastic way to support our stockists and the trade audience. We are confident you won’t miss it, wherever you are in the UK.”

More details will be announced soon.
