Sydenhams moves in on Avon

Builders and timber merchant Sydenhams has bought Avon Plywood.

Established in 1983, Avon Plywood specialises in an extensive range of cut to size, machined and edged sheet materials, as well as the supply of timber and mouldings from its site near Bristol.

Sydenhams Managing Directors, James and Charles Sherborne, said: “We are delighted to welcome the team at Avon Plywood into the Sydenhams Group, and look forward to being able to offer our new and existing customers a wider range of products and services.”

Paul Williams and Chris Toogood, who founded Avon Plywood with their colleague Ken Miller,
