The Lancer sideloaders are finished in Sydenham’s corporate blue and feature fully enclosed and protected cabins; adjustable steering and pre-controllable hydraulic functions; heat and defrost systems and easy access to the rear platform.

“As a forward thinking company we have to keep on investing in the right equipment to ensure that the business maintains its’ competitive edge even though the economic climate may remain tough” said Chris Hiscock, Sydenham’s operations director.

The trucks were procured by Sydenhams materials handling partner Lift West, whose managing director, Andrew Whitehouse, says the trucks were chosen on a “best fit, best quality, best value basis”. They will work out of Sydenhams’ timber branches in Wickham and Poole.

Sydenhams was founded in 1874 and now has a network of 17 branches.
