SterlingOSB converts campervan into a cosy home-from-home

Norbord’s engineered wood panel, SterlingOSB, is a fashionable feature in many bars, restaurants and retail outlets due to the earthy, natural look which is en vogue today. Now the FSC-certified board has made it to the uber-trendy campervan world.

Anthony Smart, a carpenter and housebuilder, has converted his transit van into a small home on wheels, featuring wooden floors, a mini kitchen completely decked out in SterlingOSB, a sofa and television.  Anthony chose SterlingOSB for its originality and economic viability compared to MDF, plywood or wood veneer facing cabinets.

Smart39145 re sized commented, “Having previously used SterlingOSB on bespoke timber frame houses, I knew it was a great product to work with; it’s easy to cut and easy to sand. I chose it for the campervan as it looks and feels amazing, adding an edgy style to the tiny home.  I have plans to convert a bigger van into a camper and will certainly be using SterlingOSB.”
