Stelrad’s new Marketing Brand Manager

Joel Cumberbatch has been announced as the new Marketing Brand Manager for the leading radiator brand in the UK, Stelrad.

This signals a rapid rise through the ranks for Joel, 30, as he joined as one of the original Brand Specialists in 2015, looking after the North East and Yorkshire, before he was promoted to Specification Manager for the West and South Yorkshire and Humberside area in 2016. He has now come full circle to manage the Brand Specialists team he originally joined three years ago.

Cumberbatch’s new role is Marketing Brand Manager, operating from within the Stelrad Marketing department. In this role he will be responsible for the day to day management of the team of Brand Specialists, who cover the UK and support the effective roll out of a number of marketing initiatives, whilst developing brand awareness and reinforcing Stelrad’s market leading position.

Head of Marketing Chris Harvey says whilst it’s a second rapid promotion for Joel, it’s well deserved: “Joel has shown great commitment and ability over the three years he has been with us, and his maturity in customer facing roles gives us the confidence to ask him to take on this management role.”

Cumberbatch is understandably delighted to be progressing with the company: “These are exciting times for Stelrad and I’m delighted to be given this opportunity to make an impression at this level. I’ve really enjoyed my time here and I’m ready to take on this demanding new role and make a contribution to seeing the company grow its market share even further. I’m also looking forward to helping to provide support for the Brand Specialists team which is doing a great job for the company.”
