The company has won the Green Initiative award at the Association of Gas Safety Managers Gas Safety Awards, presented last week at Heythrop Park in Oxfordshire.

Stelrad’s Radical radiator delivers up to its independently assessed 10.5% energy savings over an equivalent standard parallel feed radiator.

The Radical provides up to 50% more radiant heat from the front panel which heats up first and far more quickly than a standard radiator – 23% quicker in fact.

It offers comfortable warmth in a room more quickly – up to 8% more quickly – and it offers to contribute to lower energy bills – with a saving of up to 10.5% being common.

“We were delighted to win another award with the Radical,” says marketing manager Chris Harvey.

“It highlights that this is an extraordinary product that can make a huge contribution towards energy efficiency as part of an energy efficient heating system. We’re seeing it specified more and more often as it becomes established as a product that specifiers and installers like – because of its energy efficiency yes, but also because it’s as simple to fit – arguably simpler – than a standard radiator.”
