Stax further strengthens sales team

Stax Trade Centres has further strengthened its sales support team with the appointment of three new dedicated staff members.

Solus Stalwart and highly experienced garden sector Key Accounts Manager, Terry Murphy, is the latest high profile appointment to join Stax. Murphy, who has experience at a number of high profile garden businesses including Town & Country and for the past 8 years. Stalwart joins Stax as Key Accounts Manager to look after accounts including Choice and Dobbies and to develop new business.

Stax Joint MD David Hibbert commented: “Terry is hugely respected in our industry, so we’re delighted that he’s joining the team at Stax. We arguably
have the most knowledgeable team of reps in the industry, which is great news for our customers who can look to Stax for additional business support beyond the realms of everything else we already provide.”

Murphy is also joined by two more highly experienced sales representatives, John Bennie and Paul Conway, who together add another 60+ years’ experience to the now 20 strong sales team. Bennie, who joins Stax as Area sales Manager and will support Stax’s retail sector customers as well as manage the council contracts in Central Scotland. John brings in a wealth of experience in the trade, with previous roles at Saint Gobain, Sika and Toolcom Engineering Supplies. Paul Conway, who recently moved from Decco to Stax as Sales Executive will be supporting retailers across the North West of England.
