SPARKA, a leading provider of high-quality architectural ironmongery and specialist supplier of fire-rated door hardware, has joined the Independent Buying Consortium (IBC) Group as a partner supplier.

Membership of the IBC Group will boost SPARKA’s presence with almost 200 independent merchant members, expanding its customer base, growing the number of deals and providing joint marketing initiatives.

IBC members will have access to the wide-range of SPARKA fire door hardware and accessories as well as exclusive promotional deals.

The Independent Buying Consortium Group with its unique “More than a buying group” ethos is the leading buying group for developing independent builders’ merchants across the UK. With more than 10 years of experience, the IBC has unrivalled understanding of the needs of independent builders’ merchants.

Joshua Watkins, managing director of SPARKA, commented: “We’re delighted to become a member of the IBC and can’t wait to tap into its knowledge and partnerships to further the reach of the SPARKA offering. The IBC is a key voice in the industry, with strong relationships with independent merchants and joining it as a supplier is a great fit for the SPARKA brand and full range of quality, certified products.”

Dave Robertson, commercial director of the IBC Group, added: “The IBC is delighted to have signed a trading partnership agreement with SPARKA. The addition of its specialised range will further enhance the product portfolio offering into the IBC membership. We are looking forward to building a long and successful relationship.”
