The business has agreed a partnership with Cammell Laird 1907 FC – a semi-professional football club based in Wirral.

The four-year deal sees Sovini Trade Supplies becoming the main sponsor of the youth teams, as well as the first and reserve teams.

Sovini Trade Supplies director, Anita Harrison-Carroll, said: “We’re very proud to be sponsoring Cammell Laird FC for the next four years, helping them to incorporate football into the local community.

“Our philosophy at Sovini Trade Supplies is centred on doing social good and giving back to the communities we serve, and I believe the relationship we have with Cammell Laird FC will achieve this.

“Not only are we sponsoring the first team, we’re also investing in grassroots football by ensuring that a portion of the money we have used to sponsor Cammell Laird FC is spent on youth teams and their development.”

The sponsorship money is being spent on kits for the senior team, right through to the juniors, as well as training for the youth teams. The Sovini Trade Supplies logo will feature on every Cammell Laird 1907 FC team’s shirts, as well training outfits.

Frank Games, Cammell Laird 1907 FC chairman, said: “On behalf of everyone at the club, we’re delighted to have Sovini Trade Supplies on board.

“The kits are a godsend, and we’ve had some really great feedback from parents and kids alike.

“I’m thrilled with the support we’ve received from Sovini Trade Supplies and their involvement in the community and grassroots football – hopefully this is the start of a long and fruitful relationship.”

Anita Harrison-Carroll and Sovini Trade Supplies operations manager, Chris Brennand, visited the North West Construction Stadium to present the sponsorship on Tuesday evening.
