SIAMP UK recruits two new members to its team

Flushed with the success of a double digit growth in 2016, flushing specialist SIAMP UK has recruited two new members to its team.

Managing director Ashley Shires has created the company’s first UK Product Manager role taken by Alex Holcroft, and appointed Stuart Tooley to handle accounts in the South East.

Shires said: “Currently our biggest client base is plumbers and merchants and now we are expanding the contract market to include builders and architects too. Stuart will be building the SIAMP brand and assisting clients, while Alex will be analysing market data and developing new products.”

Stuart Tooley is a former plumbing merchant in North London Stuart Tooley was no newbie to the name SIAMP, now he is helping to raise brand awareness in his role as SIAMP’s new Sales Manager for the South East of England.

With more than 600 building and plumbing merchants in the area already stocking the company’s WC cisterns, valves, siphons and wall frames, Stuart plans to grow the company’s client base into both existing and new trade sectors.

A month into his new position Tooley said: “My main motivation for joining SIAMP is that it designs, manufactures and sells great products. It is a brand name that most people in the trade have fitted, but may not be aware they have fitted. We mainly supply to plumbing and building merchants, but we do have contact with developers and I will be working with our clients to represent SIAMP’s products to them.”

Welcoming Stuart on board, SIAMP’s Managing Director Ashley Shires adds: “Stuart comes to us with a wealth of knowledge and experience. He is a great addition to our team of four area sales managers.”


Alex Holcroft has worked in the sanitaryware industry for more than 15 years, Alex Holcroft joins SIAMP as their first UK Product Manager. Holcroft’s area of expertise is a combination of product development and market analysis and he will spend a proportion of his time collecting data directly from customers.

Holcroft said: “I can see great opportunities here, with the development of new and existing products, a stronger focus on how we differentiate our client base; we can instantly react to the individual needs of each client.”

“The UK market is a lot more stringent than other markets, each client is different, more so now than before, clients require upfront product data, documentation and certification, we need to be ahead of these requirements in order to provide a great service to existing clients, to reach new clients, and to drive further growth, that’s the primary focus of the role.”
