Based in Leeds, JT have revealed plans for new manufacturing capital investment as well as staff training and a new apprenticeship scheme. The investment will strengthen the manufacturing capability and team skills, creating a state-of-the-art site.

The investment in technology will support planned new product development over the next year and aims to deliver a quality new product to meet customer demand and specification.

Managing director of JT, Paul Crossley said: “This investment is the projection of our proud 26 year history and will not only build on our quality service to our customers, but also lead the market in design and innovation.

“We know the quality of our design and innovative features in our products have made JT a British manufacturing success and with this investment, we hope to exceed our customers’ expectations and really build on our position as the UK’s number one, not only for product and quality, but for service and efficiency. We have ambitious growth plans and this investment will support the ambition of our multi-skilled team.”
