Three new selling guides have been issued by the Builders Merchants Federation (BMF), covering metal drylining systems, performance plasterboards and pitched roof products.
The metal drylining systems guide explains the benefits of the metal drylining systems over the more traditional methods, and details the different methods of use including direct bond, independent wall lining, metal stud partition and acoustic floors.
The guide to performance plasterboard specifies when it should be recommended and provides information to ensure the correct plasterboard, colour coded to industry standard, is supplied for the job.
Tile/slate selection, material preference, specific roof features and ventilation are all important aspects to be considered when selling roofing products. The pitched roof product selling guide considers all these factors, plus additional product requirements, such as the likelihood that re-roofing today may require a Building Notice application.
