Builders merchant chain Selco Builders’ Warehouse has signed up as Birmingham Speedway’s ‘team title’ sponsors for 2013.
Selco sponsored the team last year as well and benefitted from around 50 hours of Sky Sports television coverage, as well as sustained local, regional and national brand awareness across multiple media platforms.
Simon Humpage, marketing manager for Selco Builders’ Warehouse, said: “The success of the 2012 season made the decision to continue our sponsorship a very easy one. Last year was our first season in speedway and it exceeded all our expectations.
“The sport is a great vehicle to increase our brand awareness. We’ve had excellent feedback from the fans and we are looking forward to an exciting and successful season ahead. There is a great supporter base around the Brummies and it’s extremely pleasing for us that a lot of the team’s followers are also loyal Selco customers.”
