Charities and community groups in New Southgate are given the chance to win £2,000 worth of building materials, thanks to Selco.

Builders’ merchants, Selco Builders Warehouse, has marked the opening of it’s new branch in New Southgate with the chance to win a prize.

Charities and community groups are invited to submit an application of no more than 100 words detailing why they would deserve the prize, and how they would use the building materials. Entries must be submitted by noon on Wednesday, October 7th, and a panel of judges will then select the winner. The promotion is to mark the opening of the New Southgate branch.

Sean Madden, Selco’s New Southgate branch manager, said: “We are delighted to be offering this prize to mark the opening of our New Southgate branch.

“We have a talented team in place and we can’t wait to get started and serving the local community.”

The new branch will supply a wide range of building materials, including doors, windows, insulation, roofing, heating, plumbing supplies, lighting, electrical products, kitchens, bathrooms, and timber.

It will also offer trade counter services, direct-to-site delivery options, and van size parking spaces. Tool and plant hire will also be available.

Madden added: “The branch will provide a boost to tradesman in and around New Southgate area, as they will be able to enjoy the benefits Selco provides – unrivalled availability, with the widest range of products in stock, as well as excellent customer service and straight trade pricing.”
