Builders merchant Buildbase has sent nine of its Timber Champions to visit timber supplier SCA’s operations in Sweden.
Between them, the Timber Champions gained a Distinction and five
Credits in the Timber Studies Award from IWSc: The Wood Technology Society.
During the visit to SCA’s forests, tree nurseries and wood production units, the top graduate from the 2009-10 SCA course, Martin Watson of Days Buildbase, Portsmouth, was awarded SCA’s annual cup for the best Buildbase student. He scored 91% in the course exam.
