Russell Roof Tiles supports workers throughout Christmas

Andrew Hayward Russell Roof Tiles 1Throughout the Christmas break, Russell Roof Tiles is providing mental health support for its 150 staff across its three sites in Burton on Trent and Lochmaben, Scotland.

According to YouGov, 25% of the population find Christmas more challenging than the rest of the year. The Samaritans also regularly reports record levels of calls during December – around half a million across the month, peaking at over 10,000 on Christmas Day. For this reason, Russell Roof Tiles is investing in wellness life coaching, and will be offering individual private sessions to support anyone struggling throughout December.

Andrew Hayward, managing director at Russell Roof Tiles said: “This has been a tough period for everyone and Christmas can be even tougher so it’s important we support all of our staff. The wellbeing of our staff is essential if they are in work or out, so we’re pleased to be providing support by way of expert advice and counselling.

“As a business we’ve had team members directly affected by mental health troubles and we need to support them, now that mental health is a much more open topic of conversation and no one needs to be ashamed or embarrassed it’s important we tackle the issue head on.”
