Specialist merchant of the drainage, groundwork and civil engineering industries, Rudridge, has announced its sponsorship of the Ultimate Strongman – World’s Ultimate Strongest Team Championships event, ahead of its full sponsorship of the Belfast Ultimate Strongman Giant Weekend in August.
The event, which takes place on Saturday 30th May at Britannia Stadium in Stoke-on-Trent, is one of only a handful of team shows in the Strongman area. Eight teams of two from around the globe will battle it out with log lifts, deadlifts and two-on-two wrestling competitions, never before seen in Strongman, vying for world domination.
The event will feature the UK’s Strongest Man, Ed Hall, who has recently broken the World Dead Lift Record, lifting weights of 462kg.
The event also includes live music from Staffordshire-based band Matrix Club Matrix, bouncy castles, jugglers, balloon animal artists and the opportunity to ‘have a go’ at some of the Strongman events with prizes up for grabs.
