Rudridge provides tunnel adventure for Stockwell kids

The Farnham branch of independent builders merchant Rudridge has helped to enhance a playground in Stockwell by supplying a large concrete tunnel, which has been built into a man-made hill to increase fun and adventure for local children.

Rudridge provides tunnel adventure for Stockwell kids

The playground, based in the heart of Stockwell, South West London, is part of a forest garden created by volunteers for charity Oasis Children’s Venture.

Kamlyn Chak, volunteer with Oasis Children’s Venture, approached Rudridge for a suitable tunnel donation, and the merchant was more than happy to oblige.

Darren Price, business development manager from Rudridge, said: “We always like to support local initiatives where possible. The Garden run by Oasis Children’s Venture is such a lovely place for children and adults alike to enjoy. There is a team of experienced play and youth workers on hand that ensure all children and young people make the most out of the opportunities and experiences available, all whilst the adults sit back and relax, perfect! We were more than happy to help by providing the tunnel, adding even more excitement for the children.”
